Happy Blogger Love Wednesday!
This week I decided to research a type of fashion blog that I personally have never read before: male fashion blogs! Turns out I love what I saw and I’m hoping our male readers will too!
Founded in 2008 by Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs, Street Etiquette was always top of the “Best Male Fashion Blogs” lists that I read. They describe their style as “cultural, historical, and urban” and I couldn’t agree more.
If there is one single thing that I look for most in blogs, it is user-friendly accessibility (in other words, simplicity). When you first get to Street Etiquette’s main page, you can see a list of categories to choose from at the bottom ranging from accessories and footwear to suit etiquette and thrift etiquette. Basically, boys, if you’re looking for something, Street Etiquette has it for ya. It’s also relieving to find that the blogs behind these categories are worthy of reading.
My next favorite aspect of these two mens’ blog is their “Inspiration” board full of what they describe as “a daily dose of our inspirations”. When I saw it, I saw hundreds of pictures just screaming to be Pinned! Their inspirations aren’t limited to fashion either – you will find pictures of gorgeous buildings, intricate prints, fierce animals, and ancient art.
If there’s one thing I’m sure about in regards to Street Etiquette, it’s that these boys sure do have it all! After scrolling through dozens of their general style blogs, I noticed that these men can take any situation (riding the Subway, attending NYC fashion week, roaming the neighborhood, or traveling abroad) and style themselves perfectly!
